JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL ORDER 04-01-2016 Heard Mr. Basudeo Ram, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Dhananjay Kumar, A.C. to G.P.16 for the State. The petitioner prays for an appropriate direction to the statutory authorities under the Bihar Cooperative Societies Act, 1935 for taking necessary action against the Chairman, Secretary and the Members of the Bhojpur Zadid Primary Agriculture Credit Cooperative Societies, Dumraon in the district of Buxar for misappropriating Government money to the tune of Rs. 28,51,126/-.
Patna High Court CWJC No.16946 of 2014 (2) dt.04-01-2016 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner with reference to an application filed by the petitioner before the Registrar, Cooperative Societies present at Anneuxre-8/B submits that a comprehensive complaint was filed by the petitioner enclosing relevant documents, with copy endorsed to the Chief Secretary as well but which has remained pending since 6.1.2014 necessitating the present application.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the nature of grievance raised herein and considering that an application to such effect is already pending consideration before the Registrar, Cooperative Societies vide Anneuxre-8/B, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the Registrar, Cooperative Societies to consider the complaint filed by the petitioner and dispose of the same in accordance with law and after giving an opportunity of hearing to the Chairman, the Secretary and the Members of the concerned society against whom the complaints have been made in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within 6 months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
