ANSHUMAN ORAL ORDER 13-01-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the Respondents through virtual mode. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner's husband retired from service of gramin police (Chowkidar) on 31.01.1999 and he was appointed in the year 1961 and nothing was paid to him.

Learned counsel for the petitioner relied on a letter issued by the government vide Memo No. 2660 dated 01.02.2002 and further on the order annexed as annexure - 7, passed by the High Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has filed the petition before the authority but nothing was done. Learned counsel for the State submits that for the purpose of getting the pension, completion of 10 years of service after absorption in the government, is required.

Patna High Court CWJC No.16011 of 2021(2) dt.13-01-2023 2/2 In this view of the matter, petitioner is directed to represent her grievance before the Superintendent of Police within 4 weeks from today and the Superintendent of Police shall pass a reasoned order with regard to claim of the petitioner, in accordance with the law as well as on the basis of proceedings made in the writ petition.

In the meantime all admissible dues of the petitioner must be paid within the said period.

With this direction, this Writ petition is hereby disposed off.
