Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

Pursuant to the order dated 30.01.2023, the Officer-inCharge of Khajauli Police Station along with the Investigating Officer is present in the Court.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Khajauli Police Station Case No. 167 of 2021 corresponding to the G.R. No. 1791 of 2021 registered for the offence under Sections 365 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on the confessional statement made by one Naveen Yadav the number plate of the vehicle which belonged to the deceased was recovered from the place where the deceased was killed and the

Learned A.P.P. opposed the prayer for bail by contending that the petitioner is also involved in the said crime and he is also having six criminal antecedents. Considering the materials available on record and long list of antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected.

The Court below is directed to expedite the trial of the accused persons.

The personal appearance of the police officers is dispensed with.
