The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 47(A) of the Excise Act.

Thirty litres country made liquor was, allegedly, recovered from a hut said to be of the petitioner. Submission is that the petitioner has no such criminal antecedent.
