The petitioner is in custody since 30.05.2017 in connection with a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has surfaced only on the confessional statement made before the police by one co-accused, namely, Rajeev Kumar which has no evidentiary value. He further submits that one other similarly situated person whose name had also appeared in the said confessional statement of Rajeev Kumar has since been extended the privilege of regular bail vide order dated 16.05.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 14626 of 2016. Considering the aforementioned facts and

Case No. 223 of 2015.
