1. Learned counsel for the N.C.T.E. submits that the petitioners have already submitted their documents for seeking approval and the Eastern Regional Committee has to examine the documents for the purpose of approval. It is stated that the E.R.C. would be holding a meeting soon, and thereafter, the decision shall be convened.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners
Patna High Court CWJC No.11339 of 2022(4) dt.14-09-2022 2/3 submits that the process of admission is going on and the petitioners should not be deprived of students only on account of the delay in the process of approval. It is informed that the college has already been approved earlier by the N.C.T.E. since 2006 and the delay in approval occurred only on account of the delay in submitting the list of teachers and certain other documents, which are necessary for the purpose.
3. Learned counsel submits that all the documents have already been submitted now and it would be only a formality. Learned counsels submits that the name of the institution be shown in the portal.
4. In the opinion of this Court, a direction at this stage for placing the name of the petitioners on the portal cannot be made without the approval from the N.C.T.E. However, in view of what has been noted above, it is directed that the N.C.T.E. (E.R.C.) shall convene meeting within fortnight and convey its decision to the petitioners within the said period itself. Thereafter the petitioners' name, if approved by the N.C.T.E. shall be placed on the portal and the Nodal University shall provide the requisite number of students as per the seats approved by the N.C.T.E. For the purpose, the Nodal University if required, shall conduct special counselling if needs so arises.

5. The writ petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
