Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner, who is husband and the case is of dowry death, was rejected by this Court, vide order dated 22.8.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No.34082 of 2017.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is in custody for about two years and no witness has been examined in this case.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, if the charge is framed, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
