2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Birpur P.S. Case No. 260 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 96 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. As per the prosecution case, the accused persons including the petitioner are alleged to have kidnapped the daughter of the informant.

4. The petitioner is the father of the main accused Krishna Kumar. The petitioner is in custody since 26.12.2024.

5. Considering the period of custody, this application is allowed.
