The petitioner has filed the present writ application for a direction to the respondent University to publish the result of the petitioner of B.Sc. Part-II examination held in the year , 2017.

From the materials available on record, it appears that the respondents have committed mistake in maintaining their record.

The petitioner appeared in B.Sc. Part-I examination in 2016 and passed in 1st Division. She appeared in B.Sc. Part-II examination in the year 2017.

Patna High Court CWJC No.14179 of 2019(2) dt.16-07-2019 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the University has issued Roll No. 216350178 in place of Roll No. 2162501786 and due to the error committed by the University, the result of the petitioner has not been published. Considering the totality of the facts situation, instead of keeping the writ application pending, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the University, particularly, respondent nos. 1 and 2 to verify the discrepancy, if any, from the record and if any mistake/error is found, the same must be rectified within a period of 15 days from today and publish the result of the petitioner.

In the event, the result is not published within a period of 15 days from today, the petitioner would be entitled to payment of cost Rs. 50,000/- to be paid by the respondent nos. 1 and 2.
