It is stated by counsel for the State that the matter relates to inclusion of 873 members of the society concerned for the election held in the year 2014. He submits that the election has already been held rendering the cause infructuous.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Should the grievance of the petitioner persist in the next election, he shall be at liberty to raise the same before the appropriate authority in accordance with law.
