The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sono P.S. Case No. 70 of 2015 registered under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The allegation of informant is that after marriage of his daughter Kajal Devi with Shambhu Ravidas, she was being tortured by her husband and mother-in-law for demand of dowry. It is further alleged that mother-in-law used to abuse her making allegation of illicit relation with co-villager Lalan Rabidas. Due to that reason, she committed suicide after pouring kerosene oil and in course of treatment, she died.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42706 of 2015 (2) dt.09-10-2015 2/2 petitioner submits that it would appear from the fardbeyan that while there is allegation of demand dowry and torture against her husband and mother-in-law, but petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case by making allegation of illicit relation with victim. In fact, petitioner has no role to make demand of dowry. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the A.C.J.M., Jamui in connection with Sono P.S. Case No. 70 of 2015, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
