The petitioner seeks cancellation of P.D.S. license of respondent no.6 on the ground that both she and her husband were elected as public representative of Ward Members. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the State stating that respondent no.6 resigned prior to filing application for grant of P.D.S. license.

In my view, the petitioner should approach the licensing authority. In case, any such application is filed, the same would be considered in accordance with law after hearing all the
