JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 24-11-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner claims to be a retired Army Personnel and, while in service, he was granted a licence for 12 bore DBBL gun at Faridkot in the State of Punjab. However, after his retirement, he has shifted to his native village, namely, Siur in the district of Nawada. Now he wants his licence to be transferred and entered into O.D. Register of that District so that he would not have any difficulty in getting renewals done time to time. It is urged that his application is pending since 2012. Having regard to the facts and circumstances, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the District
Patna High Court CWJC No.17212 of 2015 (2) dt.24-11-2015 Magistrate-cum-Licensing Authority, Nawada to take a final decision in the matter in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
