JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 19-09-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Singhwara PS case no. 17 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 of Indian Penal Code.

The accusation against the petitioner is regarding writing the name of his brother-in-law instead of his late father in the application for the purposes of obtaining a passport. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the aforesaid act was bonafide mistake on the part of the petitioner on account of the fact that from the childhood, he was adopted by his brother-in-law hence, in the place of name of father, he has written the name of his brother-in-law. It is further submitted that

Pannu has already been granted bail vide order dated 02.08.2017 passed in Cr.Misc. no. 33687 of 2017. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and appropriate to enlarge the petitioner on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate- IV, Darbhanga in connection with Singhwara PS case no. 17 of 2017.
