Petitioner is in custody in connection with Misc. Excise Case No. 364 of 2019 arising out of P.R. No. 40/19 for the offence under section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

It is alleged that total 68.250 liters of foreign liquor was seized from the house of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 26.5.2019.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal

No.42858 of 2019(2) dt.11-07-2019 2/2 antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned learned Spl. Judge, Excise, Supaul, in connection with Misc. Excise Case No. 364/2019, arising out of P.R. No. 40 of 2019 of Excise Department, Supaul.
