The petitioners being the father and brother of the husband of the victim are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation is of killing the niece of the informant within two months of the marriage for non-fulfillment of the dowry demand.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the accusation is not specific against the petitioners and the husband of the victim is in custody.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.49695 of 2015 (2) dt.05-11-2015 2/2 Since the case was registered in 2007, let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioners, if the petitioners surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Kurhani P.S. Case No. 260 of 2007 pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Muzaffarpur. With the aforesaid observation, this application is disposed of.
