The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Teghara P.S. Case No. 240 of 2020, dated 21.08.2020, instituted for the offences under Section 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a) and 40(1)(2) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise

800 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from the field of one Rampravesh Singh. So far as the petitioner is concerned, he has been named in the F.I.R. but on the accusation made by a spy of the police that he had run away from the place of raid.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that many other persons have also been made accused in this case. It has further been submitted that the petitioner does not have criminal antecedents and he is not at all concerned with the liquor which is said to have been recovered in course of raid in the present case. Regard being had to the facts afore-stated, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of eight weeks, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Addl. District Judge-CumSpecial Judge, Excise Act, Begusarai in connection with
