2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 332, 353, 506 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code registered in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 443 of 2018.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated and the FIR is against as many as 26 named accused persons and 25 unknown persons. The petitioner claims clean antecedents.

4. Having regard to the nature of accusations and gravity of offence alleged and that there is specific accusation against the petitioner of attempting to snatch fire-arms of the police, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed.

5. If the petitioner surrenders and seeks regular bail before the learned trial Court the same shall be considered on its own merit in accordance with law and without being prejudiced by any observation in the present order.
