2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Hajipur Excise P.S. Case No. 207 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a), 32(1), 32(3), 41(1) and 42(2) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.
3. The recovery is more than 1500 Kg of cannabis from the co-accused who has named the petitioner in his confessional statement. The petitioner is in jail since 15.05.2024.
4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45648 of 2024(2) dt.03-07-2024 2/2 let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on after framing of charge if charge has not already been framed, furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Prohibition and Excise Court No. 2-cumAdditional District and Sessions Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Hajipur Excise P.S. Case No. 207 of 2022.
6. The petitioner will also mark attendance in Ganga Police Station, Vaishali at Hajipur on every Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would be result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) P. Kumar U T
