2. The present modification application has been filed for modification of order dated 04.02.2026, passed by the this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 6215 of 2026, whereby the petitioner has been allowed anticipatory bail and directed to surrender before the learned court below within the period of four weeks from the order dated 04.02.2026, but the petitioner could not surrender within time as such the application for modification has been filed for extension of time.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner happens to be a poor and illiterate person and he was outside the State for his livelihood and he could not come
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No. 45105 of 2026(2) dt.10-07-2026 2/2 and surrender and furnish his bail bonds within the stipulated period. It has further been submitted that the petitioner shall suffer irreparable loss as his whole family is dependent upon him, if the period is not extended.
4. Considering the aforesaid submissions and taking into account the fact that the petitioner was working outside the State for his livelihood, the period for furnishing bail bonds upon surrender of the petitioner is extended for further period of four weeks.
5. Accordingly, the present modification application is allowed and disposed of.
