2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Turkauliya (Raghunathpur) P.S. Case No. 28 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

3. As per the prosecution case, 25 liters of illicit liquor has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. It has further been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in jail since 02.05.2024.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court of Exclusive Special Excise Judge-I, East Champaran at Motihari /concerned Court below in connection with Turkaulia (Raghunathpur) P.S. Case No. 28 of 2024.

7. As a condition of this order, the petitioner after being released on bail is directed to mark his attendance at Raghunathpur Police Station on first and third Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the police station will result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U T
