Petitioner seeks bail in Majhaulia P.S. Case No.212 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 304-B, 201/34 Indian Penal Code pending in the Court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah. In the written report, it is alleged that daughter of the informant was married with the petitioner about three years back. She was tortured in her Sasural for demand of dowry and, ultimately, she was killed in her Sasural by the petitioner and other accused persons and dead body was disposed off without informing the informant. It is mentioned in the written report that informant was informed by the accused persons after disposing

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.57501 of 2018 (3) dt.09-10-2018 2/2 off the dead body that his daughter is sick. When the informant reached her matrimonial house then he found that dead body was already disposed off.

Case diary has been received. Learned APP has submitted that witnesses in the case diary have supported the allegation made in the First Information Report. In such circumstances, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

Prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is rejected at this stage.
