Learned counsel petitioners has filed the supplementary affidavit today in the Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioners undertake to remove the defects within three weeks of resumption of normal court proceeding. In the eventuality of non-removal of defects within undertaken period, the office will place the matter before the Bench.

The petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 364A of the Indian Penal Code.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39637 of 2020(5) dt.22-03-2021 2/2 Prosecution case as lodged by the informant is that his brother-in-law was going to Sasural. On the way, he was kidnapped and a ransom of Rs. 2,00,000/- was demanded on the mobile.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are innocent, not named in the FIR and have been falsely implicated in this case. He submits that name of the petitioners have come during course of investigation on the confessional statement of co-accused namely Ranjeet Kumar. He submits that similarly situated co-accused has been granted bail by a Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 30206 of 2017 on 03.11.2017. He submits that no TIP has been done as yet. He further submits that petitioners are languishing in judicial custody since 20.03.2020.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending in connection with Muffasil (Singhaul) P.S.
