The petitioner seeks bail in Sahodra P.S. Case No. 02/2018, instituted for the offences under Sections 302, 120(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 27 of Arms Act.

It is alleged in the written report that when the father of informant had gone to pray Namaj, co-accused Sheikh Sabbu fired on the neck of father of informant on account of which he fell down after sustaining injury. Thereafter accused persons fled away by three motorcycles. Allegation against this petitioner is that he had also come on motorcycle and was standing outside. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.58242 of 2018 (3) dt.31-10-2018 2/2 there is specific allegation of causing firearm injury to the father of informant against co-accused Sheikh Sabbu. Petitioner is in custody since 26.03.2018.

Considering the aforesaid fact and circumstances, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Sahodra P.S. Case No. 02/2018, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
