Petitioner prays for bail in connection with Dumra P.S.Case No. 387 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 325, 326 and 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation against the petitioner is of assault by sharp cutting weapon to the daughter of the informant, causing grievous injuries.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner and informant were friends and moreover petitioner is in custody for 10 months and occurrence took place due to love affair.
Heard learned APP also.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23127 of 2018 (5) dt.10-09-2018 2/2 Having heard both sides and in view of the fact that injuries are grievous in nature caused by sharp cutting weapon, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. However, once the case has been committed to the court of sessions and charge has been framed against the petitioner, learned court below shall release the petitioner on bail to its own satisfaction.
With the above observation, this application is disposed of.
