The petitioner applied for the post of Constable (General Duty) (male) in Central Reserve Police Force in terms of Advertisement published in the Rojgar Career India dated 03.12.2011. The grievance of the petitioner is that the persons with lesser marks have been selected. To be specific, the petitioner submits that one Prakash Kumar bearing roll no.3206505120, who had secured

Patna High Court CWJC No.2207 of 2013 dt.08-12-2015 2 / 2 60 marks in the same OBC category, was selected, whereas his case has been overseen. The petitioner further submits that the written test was conducted in Kishanganj in the State of Bihar and the Medical examination was also held in the State of Bihar. Counsel for the respondents submits that there could have been different cut off marks for different regions and unless the details are given, it would be difficult to meet the issues raised by the petitioner.

Having regard to the submissions of the parties, this writ application is permitted to be withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to approach Staff Selection Commission, Allahabad, respondent no.4. In case, the petitioner files a representation, the same would be disposed of by a reasoned order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the copy of representation.
