Mr. Abhay Shankar Singh, Advocate ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE ORAL ORDER 07-03-2018 Even though respondents have complied with the order and made payment to the petitioner, a grievance is made by learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the order was passed in the writ petition on 09.09.2009 and the payment and the compliance have been made in the year 2015, i.e. after more than four years and, therefore, the petitioner is entitled to claim interest on delayed payment.

If that be so, in this contempt application, question of interest cannot be considered. Petitioner may raise a fresh claim and initiate proceedings claiming interest on the delayed payment in accordance with law.
