JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 23-01-2019 The petitioner had earlier approached this Court for grant of bail which was rejected by order dated 05.12.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 49858 of 2017.

The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail on the strength of the period of custody.

The petitioner is facing trial in connection with Falka(Pothiya) P.S. Case No. 143 of 2017 dated 14.06.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 302 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

The son of the deceased had spotted the deceased in company of the petitioner. When the son of the deceased (informant) wanted to bring back his father, the petitioner is

From the report sent by the Court below, it appears that six prosecution witnesses have been examined and others are in the process of being examined. The petitioner is in custody since 16.06.2017. Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, this Court directs the Trial Court to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of six months from the date of production/receipt of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid observation, the petition is disposed off.
