JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 17-05-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, State and learned counsel appearing for Gaya Municipal Corporation. The petitioner was appointed as Met in Ward No. 43, Health Branch under respondent No.3. The writ petition was filed for payment of retrial benefits.

A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of Gaya Municipal Corporation.

Mr. Braj Kishor Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner very fairly submits that except LIC amount, most of the retrial dues have been paid or sanctioned.

Patna High Court CWJC No.3487 of 2014 dt.17-05-2016 2/2 Counsel for the Corporation submits that the Corporation has already written a letter to the Life Insurance Company for payment of the LIC dues of the petitioner. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the authorities of Gaya Municipal Corporation will take all possible measures with the concerned Life Insurance Corporation Branch Office to ensure early payment of the dues to the petitioner. It is further observed that as soon as the amount would be received, the same would be paid to the petitioner within a period of one month. This application stands disposed of.
