The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 173 of 2020 arising out of Triveniganj P.S. Case No. 166 of 2019 registered under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. 3.

The report of the Trial Court is to the effect that 7 out of 9 witnesses have been examined. The report is dated 19.10.2022.

In view of such report, and in view of the fact that after due consideration petitioner's prayer for bail was earlier rejected on 01.03.2021 in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 39318 of 2020, this Court is not inclined to take a different view today.

Petitioner's application for bail is rejected. 6.

However, it is observed that the Trial Court should make all endeavours to complete the trial within two months, without granting any unnecessary adjournments or any undue delay. If the same is not done, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court.
