The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 357 of 2015 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 307, 498-A, 379, 354, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the specific allegation against the petitioner that he assaulted on the head of the informant with an iron rod, I am not inclined to grant him bail. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected. In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the
