2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with the present case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.
3. There is recovery of 103.68 litres of illicit liquor. The petitioner is in jail since 03.05.2024.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to donate Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) in some charitable organization without accepting his guilt.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47081 of 2024(2) dt.10-07-2024 2/2 bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge, Excise Court NO. 02, Buxar/concerned court below in connection with Brahmpur (Krishnabrahm) P.S. Case No. 220 of 2024 subject to the condition that:- (I). The petitioner shall deposit an amount of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) in Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Patna and produce the receipt of the same before the Court below.
The bail bonds of the petitioner shall be accepted after verifying the genuineness of the receipt produced by the petitioner.
(ii). The petitioner is directed to mark his attendance in Buxar(Ind) Police Station on every Sunday of each month.
Failure to do so, will result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
