I do not find any merit in this application seeking quashing of the First Information Report filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure as in my view, the contents of the First Information Report constitute cognizable offences.

It goes without saying that the petitioners shall be at liberty to raise the pleas as has been raised in the present application at the stage of framing of the charge or any subsequent stage of the trial, as may be permissible under law.
