The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Ganga Bridge P.S. Case No. 84 of 2020 registered under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case due to ulterior motive. From perusal of the first information report, it would appear that the owner of the alleged vehicle is one Devi Prakash Singh. Petitioner has no concern with the alleged occurrence. Only on the confessional statement of co-accused, petitioner has been made accused in the present case. Further he submits that

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing personal bond to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-IIcum-Excise Court, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Ganga Bridge P.S. Case No. 84 of 2020, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
