This application has been filed seeking quashing of the First Information Report of Samastipur Mufassil Police Station Case No. 419 of 2012, registered for the offences punishable under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

A supplementary affidavit has been filed on behalf of the petitioner bringing on record an order of the Court below, whereby cognizance has been taken on the basis of the police report submitted after completion of investigation. Though, there is no formal petition seeking quashing of the order taking cognizance, learned Counsel

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29580 of 2013 (2) dt.04-03-2016 2/2 for the petitioner seeks to challenge the said cognizance order.

I do not find any reason to interfere in the matter at this stage on the basis of the materials on record. This application is accordingly dismissed.
