The engagement of the petitioner as Anganwari Sevika at the concerned centre in the district of Gopalganj has been terminated by the District Programme Officer, Gopalganj. Against the aforesaid order of termination of the petitioner, she has preferred an appeal vide Anganwari

Patna High Court CWJC No.14364 of 2019(2) dt.19-07-2019 2/2 Appeal No. 14 of 2018 before the District Magistrate, Gopalganj. Despite the fact that such appeal was filed on 3rd of August, 2018, it has not yet been disposed off. Under the new Guidelines of 2019, the second appellate authority now is the Divisional Commissioner. The District Magistrate, Gopalganj is, therefore, directed to transmit the records of the appeal to the office of the Divisional Commissioner, Saran, who, on receipt of the same, shall, after affording the reasonable opportunities to the parties / stake-holders, pass orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three weeks from the receipt of the records and a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation / direction, this petition stands disposed off.
