JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 12-09-2019 Petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Manihari P.S. Case No. 40 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 384 and 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner and other accused persons is that they demanded extortion and also caught hold of nephew of informant and fired at him, causing injury and also there is allegation of snatching money from him. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the allegation is general and omnibus against the petitioner and no specific allegation has been attributed against him. Heard learned APP, who has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stating that in paragraph-49 of the case diary there is specific allegation against the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42603 of 2019(4) dt.12-09-2019 2/2 of firing and also snatching away some cash also. In view of above facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
