JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 15-02-2022 Heard learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State through virtual court proceedings. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Udwantnagar P.S. Case No. 67 of 2021 instituted for the offence under Section 21(B) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 07.02.2021, is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted. Allegation is of recovery of 25 grams of heroin along with Rs.20,000/- and a mobile from possession of the petitioner. Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case and even presuming what has been alleged is true then the recovery is much less than the commercial quantity and a little more than

Learned A.P.P. opposes the bail application.
