The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Kawakole P.S. Case No. 141 of 2021 registered under Section 307 and other allied sections of the I.P.C. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case due to village politics. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. Further he submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer of the petitioner by contending that petitioner is named in the first information report. There is active participation of the petitioner in the alleged occurrence.

No.52435 of 2021(2) dt.13-04-2022 2/2 From perusal of first information report, it is evident that there is specific allegation against the petitioner and others of assault by means of lathi and danda. Hence, the petitioner does not deserve to be enlarge on anticipatory bail.
Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and nature of the allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer of the petitioner is rejected.
