2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Rajoun (Nabada) P.S. Case No. 148 of 2024 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2022.

3. As per the prosecution case, 148.5 liters of illicit foreign made liquor has been recovered from an auto rickshaw.

4. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and he has no criminal antecedent. He also submits that the petitioner is in custody since 14.03.2024.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-II, Banka in connection with Rajoun (Nabada) P.S. Case No. 148 of 2024.

7. As a condition of this order, the petitioner after being released on bail is directed to mark his attendance at Kahalgaon Police Station on first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the police station will result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U T
