The petitioner seeks bail in Laukariya P. S. Case No. 62 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 302 and 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased. In the written report, it is alleged that the daughter of the informant has told her about 5-6 days earlier that she was assaulted by her husband for demand of Rs. One lakh and motorcycle. She has also told that on 15.6.2018 at 8 AM this petitioner along with other in-laws assaulted her with fist and slap. She has further stated that this petitioner and Maya Devi had poured k oil on her body and her Nanad, namely, Seema Devi had set her on fire. The informant took her injured

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.59814 of 2018(3) dt.29-10-2018 2/2 daughter to hospital where she died during course of treatment. Case diary has been received in this Case. The doctor has found 90% burn injury on the person of the deceased. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that it is improbable that person with 90% burn injury will disclose the name of anybody. Moreover, in the written report itself it is merely alleged that this petitioner poured k oil. Considering the aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the ACJM 1st Bagaha, West Champaran, in connection with Laukariya P. S. Case No. 62 of 2018 subject to the condition that both the bailers shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
