2. Despite filing Vakalatnama, no one appears on behalf of the informant/Opposite Party No. 2.
3. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 342, 376, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
4. The prosecution case, in short, is that on 09.06.2024 at about 10 PM, this petitioner, along with coaccused Najim and two other unknown persons, caught hold of the informant and on the point of knife, this petitioner committed rape upon her.

5. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. As a matter of fact, the victim was having love affair with this petitioner since two years and during pendency of this case, dispute between the parties has already been settled and the petitioner and informant have solemnized marriage on 30.06.2024 and both of them are now living together as husband and wife. It is further submitted that a joint compromise petition duly signed by both the parties has also been filed on 02.07.2024, copy of which is Annexure-P/2 to this bail petition. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedents and he is in custody since 15.01.2025.
6. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.
7. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, compromise between the parties, clean antecedents of the petitioner and period of custody, the prayer for grant bail of to the petitioner is allowed.
8. Accordingly, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Purnea in
