The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Siwan Muffsail P.S. Case No. 481 of 2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 272, 273, 308 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(A), (B) (C) and 35 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation against the petitioner is regarding recovery of one liter illicit liquor from the pocket of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and he is in custody since 04.10.2017.

Considering the nature of accusation and the period of

No.63326 of 2017 (2) dt.17-01-2018 2/2 custody already undergone, I deem it fit and proper to enlarge the petitioner above named on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Siwan in connection with Siwan Muffsail P.S. Case No. 481 of 2017.
