The petitioner seeks bail in Kotwali (Barari) P. S. Case No. 514 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged in the written report that total 12960 bottles of foreign liquor has been recovered from a truck on which the petitioner along with other accused persons were found sitting. They could not produce any valid paper in support of the aforesaid foreign liquor. The driver of the vehicle managed to run away from the place of occurrence. Seizure list is part of the FIR which bears signature of this petitioner.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.60142 of 2018(3) dt.29-10-2018 2/2 Keeping in view the recovery of huge quantity of illicit liquor, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected. He is given liberty to renew prayer for bail after six months if no substantial progress is made in the case. (Sanjay Priya, J) shyambihari/- U T
