In this case, the petitioners are claiming that their land bearing Khata No.209, Khesra No.569, area 16 decimal and Khata No.224, Khesra No.553, area 19 decimal respectively have been acquired for construction of National Highway-57, but no compensation has been made till date.

From the body of the writ application, it does not appear that the petitioners have every approached the Collector for

Patna High Court CWJC No.19382 of 2014 dt.14-09-2017 2/2 compensation. If the petitioners are really interested persons to the compensation, they may approach the Collector under the Act, who will examine the matter and take decision in accordance with law. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ application is disposed of.
