1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of anticipatory bail apprehending his arrest in connection with Mohanpur P.S. Case no. 972 of 2023 registered under sections 498A/34 of Indian Penal Code and sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the allegation against the petitioner, who happens to be the husband of the informant, and others is of torture and demand of dowry.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by order dated 16.7.2025, the matter was referred for mediation to the Patna High Court Mediation Centre where both the parties appeared and as per the mediation report, a settlement has been arrived at. The petitioner undertakes to abide by the terms and conditions mentioned in the report received from the Mediation Centre and agreed to between the parties on 1.9.2025, the agreement having been signed both by the parties in person and their respective Advocates.
5. In response, it is submitted by learned counsel appearing for opposite party no. 2 that it is true that the parties have arrived at a compromise and as such, the application be disposed off.
6. The terms of the agreement arrived at between the parties in the Patna High Court Mediation Centre is reproduced herein below for ready reference:

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the agreement arrived at between the parties on 1.9.2025, in the facts of the case, it is directed that the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Mohanpur P.S. Case no. 972 of 2023 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sherghati, Gaya.
