Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

173 litres of foreign liquor was recovered from a tempo. Petitioner was also there. Petitioner has got criminal antecedent of identical nature.

Considering the entire facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail if the trial is not concluded within a period of six months from the date of framing of charges against the petitioner on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Vishnupad Police Station Case No.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40688 of 2019(2) dt.02-07-2019 2/2 81 of 2019, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
