Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Govindganj P.S. Case No.268 of 2017, registered under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation in brief is that the informant's sister was married in the year 2013 with Nirmal Kumar and thereafter all family members were making demand of further dowry and due to non-fulfillment of the said demand of dowry, the informant's sister and her son were killed.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the sister-in-law of the deceased and she lives separately, allegation against the petitioner is that she had
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2714 of 2018(4) dt.07-03-2018 2/2 illicit affair with her own father-in-law, which is absolutely absurd, specific allegation is only against the husband and father-in-law and the petitioner is in custody since 11.10.2017. Having considered the said facts and circumstances, petitioner Sunita Devi is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM-I, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Govindganj P.S. Case No.268 of 2017.
