JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 01-05-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1.That the present writ application is being filed for issuance of appropriate writ, rule or direction commanding upon the respondents for getting disposal of the petitioner's application dated 19.05.2022 submitted before the District Magistrate, Saran at Chapra (contained in Annexure-4), seeking permission for purchase of Arms/Riffle by him against his arms license number LN05197A7A40920/159/2008, against which one 315 bore riffle bearing riffle number AB08-14457 had already been purchased by the petitioner but, the same was looted by

Patna High Court CWJC No.11505 of 2022(2) dt.01-05-2023 2/2 the criminals for which the petitioner has lodged Marhowrah P.S Case No. 155 of 2017."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the District Magistrate, Saran at Chapra to dispose off the aforesaid application of the petitioner dated 19.05.2022.

Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate, Saran at Chapra to dispose of the aforesaid application of the petitioner dated 19.05.2022, if not already disposed off, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
