2. The grievance of the petitioner is non-payment of salary for certain periods.

3. Learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner has never approached the departmental authority for redressal of his grievance and directly filed the present writ petition for payment of arrears of salary.

4. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a detailed representation

Patna High Court CWJC No.18716 of 2014 dt.07-08-2018 2/2 enclosing the materials on which his claim is based for payment of arrears of salary for different periods. In the event the petitioner files application, the respondent shall be under obligation to verify the record and after verification if it is found that the petitioner has actually worked the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Madhepura shall see that payment is made to the petitioner as they cannot deny salary on the pretext that the petitioner has not earlier approached them. The decision on the representation and consequential relief must be taken within a period of four months from the date of receipt of the representation.

5. With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
